THE BIGGER PICTURE
Haaland has already shown his sadness at seeing Grealish miss out on Manchester City's trip to the United States for the Club World Cup but will now have to cope without the playmaker for the rest of the season at least. Grealish's loan deal to Everton is also thought to include a purchase option set at round ÂŁ50 million ($67m), although it remains to be seen if the Toffees will be willing to take that up next summer.
