  Kane fired the Bavarian giants to a 1-0 lead just 13 minutes into Saturday's Bundesliga clash in Munich and followed it up with his second of the game – and Bayern's third – just before half-time, before he made it 7-1 with 20 minutes left to complete his hat-trick.

  Kane has become the first player to score at least two goals in eight matches during his debut season in the Bundesliga, according to . The previous best for a maiden campaign in the German top-flight was seven games, by Friedhelm Konietzka in 1963-64 and then by Toni Polster in 1993-94. He is also the first player to score four hat-tricks in his first year in the German top-flight, making it two Bundesliga records broken in one match.

• DID YOU KNOW?

  Kane now has 36 goals across all competitions for Bayern despite playing just 34 games. He is on track to make this the most prolific season in his entire career, with his previous best being 41 goals in 48 matches in the 2017-18 campaign.
